1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information: When you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Content you upload: Diamond videos and footage you upload for processing, along with metadata you provide (stock numbers, certificate numbers, stone characteristics).
  • Payment information: Billing details are processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your credit card numbers.
  • Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and processing history.
  • View analytics: When someone views a shared diamond video, we collect their IP address, device type, approximate geographic location (country, city), and referral source. We generate a pseudonymous fingerprint (hashed IP and device info) for unique viewer counting.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Service, including video processing, hosting, and analytics.
  • To manage your account and subscription.
  • To communicate with you about the Service, including support and updates.
  • To provide view analytics and insights on your shared content.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Data Storage and Processing

Your uploaded videos are stored in Google Cloud Storage. Processed videos are stored on our CDN for hosting and sharing. Video processing is performed by third-party AI services. We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, and Vercel for application hosting.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: Google Cloud (storage), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), and AI processing providers — as necessary to operate the Service.
  • Your shared content: When you publish a diamond video and share its link, the video and any metadata you choose to display become publicly accessible to anyone with the link.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. View Analytics and Tracking

When a buyer or viewer accesses a shared diamond video link, we collect limited data for analytics purposes:

  • IP address (stored for fraud prevention and analytics)
  • Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
  • Referral source (e.g., WhatsApp, RapNet, direct)
  • Approximate location (country, city) derived from IP via Vercel's geolocation headers
  • Watch duration

We do not use cookies or tracking scripts on public viewer pages. We do not track viewers across different videos or sessions. The pseudonymous fingerprint (hashed IP + user agent) is used solely for counting unique viewers per video.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted promptly upon your request.
  • Uploaded content: Stored while your account is active. You may delete content at any time, and it will be removed from our systems promptly.
  • View analytics: Retained for the duration of your subscription.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by tax and accounting regulations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), row-level security on database tables, signed URLs for private content access, and secure authentication via OAuth 2.0.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
